10,000BC (trailer)

click on pic for Official Website.

Would you like to travel into the past? I love to read historical novels and always wonder how it would be to have lived then… I know most of the times, the picture depicted on such stories is somehow inaccurate and perhaps embellished, but I still think it would be wonderful to travel in time… there are also many movies on the subject which can have the same effect as a novel…
10,000 BC is an up coming film that appears to have it all, from prehistoric animals, to a love story… apparently the film is not very accurate in terms of history but seems to have great especial effects and lots of prehistoric fighting… I am sure it will be a great way to spend my evening with some pop corns and perhaps a beer.

Planet B-Boy (preview)

Are you into dancing? well... this guys sure are.
Planet B-Boy is a documentary about "breakdancing"... it tells us the intimate story of dancers around the globe... their motivations, what inspires and frightens them.
The preview seems really promising... and some of their comments are breath taking... Breakdancing takes dancing to its origins... it is more of an expression that a technique, you do not need to know what you are doing... just feel the music and follow it with any kind of movement.
I am really interested in watching this movie... not because I like dancing but because it has been a while since I do not see a documentary that interests me... I still have to watch the Terror's advocate, I am sure it will be great.

I love when I find some other blogs that somehow complement mine... This is the case of "Soundtrack Geek" which reviews movies in a completely different way. Here you can check all the latest soundtracks and their review... which is awesome for all those music/movie lovers.

21 (trailer)

click on pic for Official site
I have been a college student for over 5 years and I always find incredible the things that college students go through to pay their studies… I had to take Internet as a way to keep up with the high expenses… but I know lots of people with crazy stories about their ways of earning money…

21” shows one of the ways in which brilliant students earn some extra money and how close from reality the story could be.

The preview shows some good scenes… the idea is not bad at all but it is something that has been explored in the past… the only thing that was missing to complete the cliché-movie was Matt Damon playing as the brilliant guy who is not bad at all but needs money to finish University and to become the number one lawyer in USA, and therefore plays some poker, in this case 21 to achieve his goals… *cough*cough*lame*cough…

WALL·E (trailer)

Click on pic for Official Website (pic 1. WALL·E/ pic 2. Number 5)
I watched this trailer a couple of weeks ago and I couldn’t remember why the robot seemed very familiar to something I had already seen… I thought about it for a while and couldn’t really recall.

Now finally I remember! WALL·E is almost a copy of 1986 “Short Circuit” Number 5

I hate when characters remain the same… I mean… how creative do you have to be to give a robot a different look …it is a robot for Gods sake!! You can add and take anything you want from it…

Anyway the story is completely different from what we saw with “Short Circuit” although I am not sure why… loads of robot movies have a close relation with junkyards.
